Our introduction to Haydn Kirby and MCMS early in 2013 provided us with the flexibility we were looking for to be able to get our project in the ground quickly. My husband and I began looking for a cottage and after searching with no success we ended up buying a piece of vacant land on Rebecca Lake. We asked around and were given the name of Muskoka Construction Management Services (Haydn Kirby). We interviewed a few companies but felt very comfortable with Haydn and his extensive experience.
We had a vision for a unique property and purchased a property with a boathouse over the water which was in need of tearing down. This unique situation afforded us the benefit of building over the water which in itself was quite an extensive and complicated process. We began the demolition, planning, and then finding an architect. Haydn facilitated the process easily and made living afar very easy as he dealt with every aspect of the build on our behalf. He facilitated the necessary permits and interviewed all the trades on our behalf and set the wheels in motion for construction.
We were very happy with the process and the quality of construction. Haydn was always available when we needed him and countless times went above and beyond what any contractor would take on. He treated the project like it was a build of his own home.
The end product exceeded our expectations and we cannot express our immense gratitude to him. Our family has a beautiful cottage and soon to be home when we retire that we will enjoy for years to come.
